ERO

The Education Review Office (ERO) is the government department that reviews schools and early childhood services in New Zealand. An ERO education review gives an external perspective on a school’s teaching and students’ learning. The aim of a review is to help a school improve the quality of teaching and learning in the school (Education Review Office, 2014).

Dyer Street School has a positive reporting history with ERO. This review finds that high quality practice has continued. School leaders and teachers are strongly focused on improving learning through effective teaching.

The full report may be found at the ERO website.
